This was an exercise done to practice modeling with NURBs curves.
I followed this tutorial by CtrlArt creative content in motion.
One thing that is important to note is while using the Surfaces>Extrude, the video’s default settings cause some of the normals to be reversed (black polygon faces).
The Extrude settings must be:
Style = Tube
Result Position = At Path
Pivot = Closest End Point
Orientation = End Point
These are the beginning settings.
Here are all the settings I used.
